Colorado Auto Insurance

Colorado law requires auto liability insurance.

Bodily Injury Insurance - split limit - 25000 per injured person  limit / 50000 per accident limit
Property Damage Insurance - 15000 per accident

You also have the option in Colorado of purchasing a liability insurance policy with single limit coverage. the minimum single limit coverage policy allowed under Colorado law is 65,000 

Comprehensive and collision coverage are not required by Colorado law.  However, if you borrowed money to purchase your automobile, your lender may require you to carry this coverage until the loan is paid. 

Although you are not required to purchase it, all insurance companies are required to offer uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage in an amount equal to your bodily injury coverage or one hundred thousand dollars per person and three hundred thousand dollars per accident, whichever is less.

Leasing an automobile, you may be required to carry liability coverage in the amount of $100,000 per person,$300,000 per accident and may require you to carry property damage coverage in excess of the state minimum.
