Illinois Auto Insurance
Illinois has a mandatory
automobile insurance law.
You are in compliance with the mandatory insurance law if
you have vehicle liability insurance in the following minimum amounts:
Bodily Injury Insurance - split
limit - 20000 per injured person limit / 40000 per accident limit
Property Damage Insurance - 15000 per accident
You must always carry your insurance card in your vehicle
and show it upon request by any law enforcement officer.
