Proof of financial responsibility can be provided by:

Providing evidence of $115,000 in self insurance filed with the Vermont Commissioner of Motor Vehicles or;

Maintaining an automobile liability policy with the following minimum limits

Bodily Injury Insurance - split limit - 25000 per injured person  limit / 50000 per accident limit
Property Damage Insurance - 25000 per accident
